The European branch of The Pokémon Company International has sent out reveals of the Surging Sparks expansion to a number of gaming outlets. These include CNews , Dot Esports , Eldesmarque , Eurogamer , IGN , JdG , NextN , The Gamer , and Video Game Chronicle . Many of these cards have been shown in different languages.
As mentioned above, the Surging Sparks set will combine cards from the Stellar Ceruledge ex and Stellar Sylveon ex (August), Paradise Dragona (September), and Supercharged Breaker (October) decks.
Our set should also include some Japanese promo cards.
While Kilowattrel ex hasn't been confirmed to be in Surging Sparks , the placement of Tapu Koko (#65) and Uxie (#78) suggests that it will be in the set. There are 12 cards between the two, but only 11 in the equivalent Japanese versions. Since Wattrel and Kilowattrel already have cards in Supercharged Breaker , it makes sense that Kilowattrel ex would be included to complement the other two.
Flamigo ex and Tyme are similar cases. Flamigo ex slots in between Slaking ex (#147) and Brilliant Blender (#164), while Tyme slots in between Technical Machine: Fluorite (#188) and Exeggute (#192). This suggests that both could be part of the set, complementing the cards in those numerical ranges.
Based on the location of the Secret Rare cards, we can speculate on the rest of the Secret Rare cards that will be included in Supercharged Breaker . All of them will be revealed in Japan next week.
The English rare illustration card with the number #212 could be Zangoose , Slakoth , Vigoroth , or Eternatus from Supercharged Breaker . Since Eternatus will receive his first card without the rules box in this set, it's possible that he'll be the one to get the illustration rare.
The special rare illustration card located at #236 has two possible options: Durant ex or Scovillain ex . Both cards could occupy that position in the Supercharged Breaker set, depending on the designers' final choice.
It's possible that Capsakid and Scovillain ex could receive connected cards, similar to what happened with Joltik and Galvantula ex in Stellar Crown . This is because there's space for a potential Capsakid illustration card between Vivillon (#107) and Ceruledge (#109) in Supercharged Breaker , though that space could also be filled by other Pokémon. However, it's important to note that this is pure speculation.
Cards that have been excluded from Surging Sparks include Pecharunt and Zapdos , which are blister promo cards for Shrouded Fable and Surging Sparks , respectively. These decisions are based on the final selection of cards for the expansion, which is also being highly anticipated by the gaming and collecting community.
